What does this role look like?

Supply Chain’s vision is to enable customer and mission success through supply chain strategies and execution that deliver superior operational program performance and create competitive advantage through continuous improvement. It is our mission to deliver affordable supply chain solutions that meet all program requirements and manage supply chain risks to ensure positive supplier performance through all phases of the program life-cycle from capture to sustainment.

The selected candidate will be a Supply Chain Business Operations first-line manager with oversight of ~10 Supply Chain Regulatory Compliance professionals. The team supports critical Government and non-government programs, ensuring the integrity of the acquisition process and compliance with company policies and procedures and Federal Acquisition Regulations.

This role will offer you the following daily challenges:

• The management and support to more than one geographic area requiring strong multitasking skills and the ability to effectively oversee multiply cross-functional projects.
• Will be responsible for providing guidance to Senior Management and Acquisition Personnel on Government subcontracting requirements.
• Will be responsible for directly managing people and teams to positive outcomes.
• Will lead a strong, high performing team, as the foundation for Supply Chain Business Operations
• Solving problems to drive innovation and modernization while ensuring team and mission success
• Representative of LM Space Global Supply Chain Organization supporting key LM Corporate and LM Space activities and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors through successful management of people and teams
• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
• Substantial Experience in Subcontracting, Procurement and Supply Chain Operations supporting Government Prime Contracts
• In-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), supplements to the FAR and Government Purchasing System requirements
• Knowledge of purchasing system requirements under Government Prime Contracts
• Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
• Strong analytical skills, as well as highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must be detailed oriented

Desired Skills:
To be successful, ideally, you should also have:

• 10+ years of Supply Chain experience including 5+ years of leadership experience
• Experience working directly with DCMA and DCAA
• Experience with Government Contractor Business Systems Compliance
• Ability to engage senior Leaders as required to address challenges and resolve issues
• Ability to prepare for and brief executive management
• SAP P2P system, or similar ERP experience
