About the job
The Supply Planner, Beverages, is responsible for finished goods inventories for a specified product format to achieve customer service targets while maintaining cost targets.
- Overall responsibility for finished goods production plans for a specified product format.
- Ensure overall ERP systems (both within SAP and in external processes) maintained and overall system planning is optimized. Conduct regular consistent reviews of all parameters and update based on new criteria.
- Lead & conduct supply planning meetings with cross-functional teams, ensuring all production plans are adequate from days of supply (DOS) to deliver service and cost targets.
- Develop / implement finished goods run out plans with information from project manager, demand planning and customer solutions to minimize losses and meet project timelines.
- Support cross functional teams on finished goods commercialization projects.
- Lead projects and task force teams with Industrial to resolve and optimize supply chain production challenges.
- Track and report key KPIs - Fillrate, Losses, Sourcing Productivity & Inventory.
The base compensation range for this position is $66,000-$98,000 (commensurate with experience). You have a minimum 3-5 years Supply Chain experience in CPG including supply planning
- You have a B.A. in Supply Chain Mgmt/Logistics or related degree.
- You have a demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes and safety stock optimization strategies.
- SAP/APO knowledge a plus
- APICS certification desired.
- You have the ability to set deadlines and key timetables to achieve with minimal guidance.
- You have the ability to work effectively in teams and ensure mutual KPIs achieved.
- You have strong project management/organization skills - you must have attention to detail
- You have proven success in problem solving and critical thinking
- You have a proven ability to execute results quickly & effectively

In this Global role, the VP of Global Supply Chain Management will develop and implement standardized processes, efficient, cost effective and innovative solutions to optimize our Supply Chain. Partner with Global and business line leaders to enable sensible movement of goods and materials, while meeting all customer needs. - Leads the organizations strategic Global Supply Chain Management effort.
- Responsible for all aspects supply chain management - quality standards, commodity management, logistics, transportation, capital procurement, customer service/vendor/supplier relations contracts and process improvements
- Effective management and optimization of both direct and indirect spend as well as operational expense.
- Global management of enterprise wide procurement as it relates to equipment, energy, raw materials, travel, IT system, real estate, consultants, business expenses etc..

Education:
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is required. MBA preferred.
Experience:
- 0 - 15 years progressive Supply Chain leadership and strategy development experience required which will include knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management.
- The successful candidate will be able to courageously and innovatively look at different paths to design a future for the supply chain organization. DISH is seeking a Distribution Clerk at its Distribution Center in Denver, CO to perform administrative duties related to processing sales orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Processes a high volume of sales orders that ship daily using multiple computer systems and shipping carriers
- Receives, prepares, and responds to a high volume of e-mails
- Creates Bill of Ladings using various shipping vendors
- Submits, tracks, and investigates shipping claims with retailers and carriers
- Organizes and maintains file system, and other correspondence and records
- Handles Oracle RMA’S
- Submits freight claims with carriers and follows up closing them

The Business Operations Manager will lead a team responsible for designing and implementing logistics and transportation services, negotiating contracts with carriers, providing logistics and transportation as a shared service for all DISH businesses, analyzing large data sets to create trend reports, developing tools to audit operational processes, investigating irregularities in our shipments, and building analytical tools and models to improve our transportation programs across the entire company. This position will require the ability to effectively communicate to C-level executives on progress, strategies, risks and plans for operational execution
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are a necessity due to the pace of work and the amount of inter-departmental coordination. The right candidate will take ownership of the role, thrive in a high-volume and fast-paced environment, inspire others, and work to continually improve the performance of the team.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute transportation and logistics services across all business units, meeting service level agreements
- Lead freight cost, service and carrier management studies, lead RFQ/P, and award process. Negotiate Rates and service commitments for multiple modes of transportation
- Lead the logistics network optimization
- Cross-functional and direct management of regional logistics coordinators, owning receiving, storage and shipping at remote facilities
- Lead the implementation of the Transportation Management System (TMS, develop complex analysis supported through TMS business intelligence capabilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to generate freight market benchmarking and determine meaningful KPIs
- Develop methods of measuring and reporting operational effectiveness, develop and manage weekly metrics by business unit
- Work closely with operations teams to develop opportunities for continuous improvement
- Perform financial analysis, budget preparation and monthly reporting within the Logistics & Transportation team
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
3+ years of experience leading transportation and logistics teams in a large company. Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience. Excellent computer skills, including experience with Oracle (or similar), Transportation Management Systems, and Freight Payment Systems.
SKILLS
- Must have management experience and negotiating/business acumen relating to freight, transportation, and logistics contracts.
