Logistics Coordinator, Boulder Co.
Role Objectives:
To plan and provide an uninterrupted flow of materials, supplies, and services required to meet customer demand, while minimizing cost and total inventory (cash) investment; to improve the company’s competitive position.
Key Deliverables:
- Availability of suitable raw materials to meet customer delivery needs
- Accuracy and timeliness of information including vendor order and inventory status and reporting
- Improving efficiency and cost metrics (pricing, turns, etc).
Key Criteria for Success:
- Can think strategically and globally, working on mid- to long-term planning time horizons
- Talent for data analysis and spreadsheet use

Qualifications Review (Skills & Experience):
Degree in accounting or business management required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience planning and managing inventory in a manufacturing environment required
- MS Office-Intermediate to Advanced required (Excel - test)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required (verify)
- APICS (CPIM) and/or NAPM (C.P.M.) certification strongly desired

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to:
- Executing the vision and mission of the America’s retail business.
- Applying an optimal service model throughout the retail supply chain organization.
- Instrumental in the strategic growth of the retail business through excellence in planning and allocation.
- Part of implementation of merchandising strategy for each concept that drives new store growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with product/marketing leaders to deliver against these initiatives.
- Primary responsibilities to include: buying, planning, allocation, budgeting and forecasting.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Passionate commitment to excellence, a keen appreciation for the customer service aspect of specialty retail and an understanding of the importance of driving sales through on-going training, customer relations management, outstanding service and product knowledge while remaining focused on profitability through rigorous attention to expense management and operating/financial controls
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a well-regarded, specialty retail environment, ideally, during a period of growth; experience in a vertically integrated organization would be a plus
- The successful candidate should have sound business judgment and strong planning and allocation skills; experience in specialty footwear is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope; must be able to act decisively in implementing solutions through the team actions.
