Supply Chain / Inventory Coordinator

We are a small but growing manufacturing company. We are seeking a supply chain professional to aid in supplier qualification and procurement operations. The individual should be driven, organized, and capable of evaluating and addressing all aspects of the supply chain.

Responsibilities include:

Maintain supply chain for small (50 employees) ISO 9001 certified manufacturer.

Responsible for all aspects of inventory and materials management

Utilize ERP to maintain inventory levels and systems to move toward JIT

Train to become an expert on company ERP software

Evaluate and certify new suppliers

Maintain approved vendors list

Maintain inventory accuracy

Place POs and maintain relationships with current suppliers Expedite materials through suppliers when necessary

Occasionally assist in quality audits of suppliers

Develop systems to streamline the supply chain/procurement processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

2-5 years experience in a supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or inventory management 2-5 years experience working in an ERP environment

Advanced computer skills and aptitude.

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Versatile, flexible, and willing to work with changing priorities while paying strict attention to detail Must demonstrate strong PC and MS Office suite skills with an intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Excel.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Knowledge of ISO 9001 Standard.

Experience with ISO, Aerospace, Automotive and/or Medical quality systems. Experience with various Manufacturing processes.
