INVENTORY/PRODUCTION PLANNER-Denver
Description: The mission of this position is to convert forecasts and customer orders into production schedules that meet customer and inventory requirements.
Duties:
• Collaborate with the Buyers to ensure production plans and materials availability can meet production schedules and delivery to the customer
• Maintain and issue the daily and weekly production schedule for most production lines
• Conduct inventory analysis to ensure accurate inventory and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Track planning exceptions and propose sustainable changes to planning system with key internal stakeholders
• Maintain open line of communications (both verbal and written) with key internal stakeholders to adjust demand/supply schedule changes
Qualifications: REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Associates degree or at least 5 years related experience in inventory control
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Ability to prioritize with good time-management skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Good customer service skills
• Professional attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress, ever changing environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (Helpful, but not required):
• APICS certification
• Meguro/QAD experience (current ERP system utilized)
