FORECAST SR ANALYST (557283)
Job Summary
Position is responsible for creating, analyzing, implementing, and controlling forecasts. This includes domestic and international forecasts.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize the ZFS system to analyze the Global sales forecast using models within the system.
- Analyze domestic historical sales trends to project future sales by product line.
- Gather and analyze future market trends by product line (with Global Product Managers).
- Organize and coordinate efforts for new product rollouts to the field.
- Provide ongoing support of data collection and analysis associated with strategic planning efforts including company and product-line sales projections.
- Provide leadership as needed within the Planning department for OEM projects.
Develop and implement medium to large process improvements.

Expected Areas of Competence
- Demonstrated experience in forecasting, organizing, and coordinating efforts.
- Effective interpersonal/communication skills required.
- Ability to write professional plans and reports in English.
- Familiarity with TQM methods and industry quality/regulatory standards.
- Preferences include: familiarity with APICS standards, JDE, ZFS and Manufacturing environments.
Education/Experience Requirements
- College degree plus a minimum of 5 years professional experience in distribution, logistics, marketing or forecasting/planning, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with TQM methods and industry quality/regulatory standards. Preferences include: familiarity with APICS standards, JDE, SAP and statistical forecasting tools.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing, and coordinating efforts.
