The Role

Provide the Procurement & Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization with the critical information needed to make fact-based decisions, including building a strong business alignment with internal customers and providing key internal customers with information and analytics. Lead staff in gathering business requirements, preparing logical and physical reporting environments, and completing design, coding, testing and implementation of business intelligence reports. Work closely with other Analytics teams and program groups in providing effective reporting solutions. Manage reporting analysts to produce operational reports by supplier, business unit, and commodity; continuously identify processes to automate/eliminate reports by applying business process improvement and process reengineering to report development wherever possible. Required to manage all type of Procurement & SCM projects for systems and processes.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day functions of business and reporting analysts
  • Provide leadership team with adequate information to make decisions (both strategic & tactical)
  • Design, develop and implement analytical models using appropriate data mining tools, analyze results and work cross-functionally to generate actionable recommendations
  • Design and build utilization management dashboards/reports/models
  • Work with internal report production teams to evaluate reporting performance and implement enhancements.
  • Interpret, create final recommendations, and present the results to key stakeholders
  • Develop and direct the implementation of processes to improve reporting efficiencies
  • Manage a variety of SCM projects such as, but not limited to: Procurement, Inventory, Contracts, Vendors, Pricing, etc.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, IT, or other relevant experience
  • 5-7 years experience in an analytical role supporting business departments
  • 2-4 years of progressively responsible managerial experience
  • In-Depth functional knowledge and broad multi-functional knowledge of CTL
  • Prior people management experience, preferably in a Procurement & SCM environment
  • Strategic thinking, sound business judgment, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid analytical, data and technical capabilities.
  • Leadership in team oriented projects
  • Attention to detail, and ability to balance between attention to detail and strategic vision
  • Solid communication skills, both written and oral
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, team player, and integrity
  • Experience with report writing and developing using a variety of tools including but not limited to SQL scripting, SQL Server Reporting, Cognos, Tableau, FI ADDIN, SAP and Qlik

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Education

  • Expert knowledge of data extraction, data mining and analysis tools
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases architecture
  • Experience analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets.
  • Expert in using MS Excel, MS Access, and/or other database-driven software to perform complex analysis and reporting

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
