At ClearChoice Management Services, we recognize that effectively managing our supply chain and procurement processes is integral to delivering innovative and effective clinical and operational support services to our partners. The Supply Chain Manager will oversee value-based strategic procurement and supply chain management processes associated with the acquisition of goods and services across the enterprise. This position will be functionally responsible for ensuring that the goods and services are being procured with the highest quality, most competitive costs, and in a timely manner to support the day-to-day operations of our business. Broadly, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for: assisting in the development of strategic sourcing plans, vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and enterprise roll-outs; on-going management of existing vendor relationships; forecasting, purchase order execution, and inventory management; e-procurement system management; policy creation/ administration; and support of cross-functional interdependencies.

Team Overview:

The CCMS Supply Chain team has an overall objective to align with business partners to improve profitability and performance by maximizing the value of our purchased goods and services. This will assure continuous improvement in the cost effectiveness and value of services delivered, ultimately improving customer satisfaction, company financial performance, and the overall strategic position of CCMS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, recommend, and implement systems and process improvements to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness throughout the ClearChoice procurement ecosystem
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with key suppliers, in coordination with departmental and executive leadership
  • Lead Request for Proposals (RFP) with key suppliers to improve cost, quality, delivery, diversity, and safety in the supply base
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers
  • Lead team of purchasing specialists and manage the full purchasing cycle which includes: vendor setup, requisition, purchase order creation, order expediting, fulfillment, return, invoice/matched exception resolution, catalog maintenance, backorder functions, and e-procurement system management and administration
  • Review and resolve any discrepancies with supplier invoices, grievances, claims, conflicts, product non-conformance or quality issues
  • Prepare and maintain supplier evaluation forms
  • Prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis of historical data and market trends to support long-range purchasing strategies
  • Provide management with forecasts of market conditions, price trends and potential problem areas, and recommend strategies and solutions to address
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage supply position risk assessments
  • Analyze and evaluate all elements of procurement transactions of assigned projects for maximum cost improvement
  • Lead efforts to eliminate non-value-added activities within project scope, increase quality and service, and reduce costs
  • Develop and manage detailed cross-functional projects in support of organizational objectives
  • Develop, document and enforce corporate procurement policies, guidelines, standard operating procedures, and best practices
  • Additional duties as assigned

Key Skills:

  • Must have a thorough understanding of supply chain management concepts and the economics of corporate purchasing; demonstrated ability to quickly trouble shoot and resolve supply chain issues is required
  • Candidate is required to have thorough working knowledge and experience in “procure to pay” systems (Coupa) and can efficiently manage buying channels, while driving compliance and savings at the enterprise level
  • Must have a thorough understanding of contracting principles and contract structure
  • Must be able to develop, coordinate and control multiple processes and/or projects, achieving on-time delivery of tasks to satisfy the operating requirements of the Company
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of customer service to all stakeholders in a work environment of numerous competing demands
  • Must be adept at communicating with vendors and internal business partners to establish and maintain credibility for the team while increasing service to our internal business partners
  • Must have experience in effectively establishing procurement strategy and decision criteria and in bringing decisions to closure while demonstrating business acumen and good judgment
  • Computer skills should include proficiency in MS Office including: Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Able to comfortably interface with all levels of management both inside and outside the organization

Experience/Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • At least 5 years of experience in Procurement/ Supply Chain Management/ Project Management or Finance roles
  • Advanced knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and techniques (including negotiating strategic vendor contracts/ agreements) required
  • C.P.M. and/or CPIM certification desirable
  • Proficiency in MS Office, experience with e-sourcing platforms and other database tools
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Able to multi-task well and prioritize workload with limited supervision
  • Thrives in an environment with multiple and changing priorities that require exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Able to exercise independent decision making
  • Interested and capable of providing proactive ideas and solutions to better structure/ manage vendor relationships and supply chain processes
  • Enjoys working in cross-functional teams with a diverse set of clients

Compensation and Benefits:

$70,000- $85,000 base compensation DOE

In addition to your base compensation, depending on position, you may be eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus (potential bonuses are merit based). Medical Insurance Coverage, Dental Insurance Coverage, Vision Insurance Coverage, Retirement Plan (401K) options are provided as an additional benefit of employment with ClearChoice.
