As part of our new retail wireless department, we’ll partner with product managers and engineers to solve customer problems in an agile environment. The product teams are key enablers of our success, immersing themselves in every aspect of the product development lifecycle – from strategy ideation to launch execution and everything in between.
What you will be doing
We are seeking a results-oriented critical thinker to oversee the demand planning strategy across multiple brands spanning all prepaid and postpaid devices of our new retail wireless division. The successful Demand Planning Manager will partner with the sales, marketing and finance teams to incorporate business intelligence into the forecast. Additionally, he or she will define and execute the multi-brand strategy and analyze market trends. In this role, you will:
- Build analytical and statistical frameworks to predict sales performance across prepaid and postpaid brands;
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and customers to refine the demand plan and achieve a forecast that accounts for promotions, changes to product portfolio and other business intelligence;
- Facilitate and coordinate sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes to balance demand and supply gaps through risk mitigation and approvals;
- Partner with the supply planning team to translate demand into purchase plan requirements;
- Define, analyze and report KPIs to senior management.
Skills and Experience
Successful Demand Planning Manager candidates have:
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business, economics or related field;
- 10 or more years of related work experience;
- Eight or more years of demand planning experience in market trends and statistical analysis;
Ideal Demand Planning Manager candidates have:
- Eight or more years working with S&OP processes in a mobile operator or consumer electronics industry;
- Familiarity with high-tech products warehousing and mobility devices distribution;
- Knowledge or certifications in Six Sigma or Lean Principles.
Compensation: $86,400.00/Yr. - $120,200.00/Yr.
