Location: Louisville, Colorado
Hours: This is a full-time, salaried position
Reports to: The Tea Spot Operations Director

We are seeking a results-driven leader with experience in warehouse and inventory management, and success in continuous operation improvement. The ideal candidate for this position will have outstanding communication skills within diverse, ever-changing, fast-paced environments, and will be a motivating manager skilled in training, coaching and mentoring staff. This role reports to The Tea Spot’s Operations Director, who is responsible for all Production, Fulfillment and R&D for the company. The Warehouse Manager supports the Operations Director by managing all warehouse personnel, schedules & systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strategically manage day-to-day warehouse operations in compliance with company’s policies, goals and objectives, in support of the Operations Director.
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures, maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security, adhering to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements, including HAACP.
- Develop warehouse schedules, inventory product flow and product handling systems; You will build short-range and long-range production schedules in support of the annual sales plan, while maximizing production efficiency.
- Oversee and participate in daily warehouse operations; establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current. Assist with resolution of product packing or order fulfillment problems.
- Accomplish warehouse operations human resource objectives by training, scheduling, coaching, and motivating employees; Communicate job expectations to staff; Evaluate job contributions; Manage compensation actions; Enforce policies and procedures for a staff of 12+ people.
- Monitor the quality of services provided in collaboration with the Operations Director.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of location, count, and dates. Inspect physical condition of the warehouse.
- Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as Customer Service and Purchasing.
- Manage produced goods stock and reconcile with inventory system.
- Produce performance and efficiency reports and statistics regularly.
- Ensure efficient use of space, optimizing work flow.
- Maintain the warehouse keeping the area clean and organized. Utilize 5S.
- Assist in evaluating and recommending new equipment.
- Assume additional related responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements:
- Leadership skills and ability to manage, train and motivate staff
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Inventory planning experience (APICS CPIM certification is a plus)
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Experience with inventory management software and databases
- BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration or 5 years hands on work experience as a warehouse manager

Compensation:
- $48,000 - $60,000/year, commensurate with experience
