Supply Chain Analyst - $60-65K + Bonus - South West Denver

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES *Lead planning organization to produce an effective plan that can be used for procurement, production scheduling, distribution planning and capital expenditures.

*Accountable for establishing, reviewing and maintaining 18-month production and sourcing plans by family that balance service requirements, working capital constraints, and product family OGSM's (objectives, goals, strategy, measures).

*Responsible for ensuring sales, stock replenishment shipments, production, and inventory plans volumetrically mass balance and represent expected accounting transactions for income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.

*Accountable for Supply Planning processes with the result being an effective Master Production Schedule for optimized usage of manufacturing resources and supply partners.  

*Accountable for defining tactics that drive operational activities within marketing, sales, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and technical services that are integrated with commercial and supply chain strategies.

 * Accountable for tracking, communicating and providing support for the continuous improvement of all supply-side KPI's defined with Tactical Planning Cycle scope.

*Accountable for facilitating the effective use, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing of the following key order fulfillment processes:  Sales and Operations planning, Forecasting, Master Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning, Capacity Requirement Planning.

*Accountable for identifying, communicating and implementing supply chain cost management opportunities.

*Track ongoing operations and lead contingency activities whenever deviations outside of agreed upon tolerances are noted.  Communicate and implement contingency activities to correct deviation including implications to existing forecast.

*If manufacturing performance or sales are not executed within tolerances of supply plan, coordinate with Business Unit Leader and Demand Planner to create contingency plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

Five to seven years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years' experience in 3 or more of the following S&OP process areas (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Master Production Scheduling, Sales Forecasting, Materials Management, Warehouse Management, Customer Service, Logistics/Distribution). Five years practical experience with MRP-II concepts and integrating forecasting (independent requirements), planning, and scheduling activities within a computerized ERP environment.

 

Education/Experience

 

Bachelor's degree in logistics, inventory management/procurement, industrial management, engineering or equivalent combination of both education and experience with strong business knowledge and experience required.

 

Computer Skills

 

JDE experience highly desired.

Certificates and Licenses

 APICS CPIM preferred.
