Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH is looking for an Inventory Planning Analyst to join our In-Home Services division to support our inventory operations. This analyst will focus on supporting inventory operations within the field organization which consists of over 130 field locations and over $40 Million of inventory. Assignments will include inventory demand planning for all field locations, strategic analysis and rebalancing of inventory, process improvement initiatives, and support of field operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in material planning, forecasting, data analysis, operational support. Prior experience in a business support role is beneficial.
Primary Responsibilities fall into the following categories:
- Analyze inventory consumption, forecast, and replenishment data to provide guidance to field locations.
- Develop comprehensive demand planning models
- Build transition and launch plans for new products
- Build relationships enterprise wide, and successfully work across departments to coordinate and communicate with various groups and key players.
- Communicate with employees in field locations in written and spoken communication.
- Support field team operations as needed
- Evaluate business processes and provide direction for corrective action as needed.
- Responsible for documenting business processes and updating documents as required.
Skills - Experience and Requirements
A successful Inventory Planning Analyst will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior experience in data analytics, demand planning, or material planning
- Telecom/media or other technical industry experience is nice to have, with a focus on operations.
- Strong follow through abilities and must have strong ownership of projects and tasks
- Must have the ability/experience to recommend solutions to issues and risks
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Experience with Tableau or Anaplan a plus
