The Headlines:
In the role of Forecast and Demand Planning Analyst – Craft and Innovation you will be part of the Customer Supply Chain Organization. You collaborate and work efficiently with internal and external partners and stakeholders providing the business with analytic support to help drive decisions that are critical to the ongoing growth of the business. This role adds value creation by critically evaluating data gathered from multiple sources, conduct mathematical, statistical, and other analyses of the data as appropriate to help drive and influence decision making in the Craft & Innovation team. Finally, you manage the ongoing reports, respond to ad-hoc requests for data and reports from various departments to support C&I brands.
This position reports to the Manager of Craft and Innovation Planning and Execution and works closely with internal stake holders regarding Craft and Innovation related issues that fall within the assigned scope of responsibility.
The Responsibilities:
- Creating reports and developing business analytics in multiple systems used for decision making that maximizes benefit to the organization, while making financially sound decisions.
- Work with suppliers and Craft & Innovation Sr. Analysts to manage vendor managed inventory, proactive order and inventory management, forecast analysis and gap resolution
- Executes projects within targets while meeting the retail agreements.
- Actively and continuously solicits customer input, involvement and support in all project activities. Provides a high level of customer service and support.
- Co-leads or participates in cross divisional project teams tasked with implementation of various projects.
- Ability to identify, develop and communicate best practices in business intelligence and analytics to the team
The Other Qualifications:
- Demonstrable evidence of driving World Class Supply Initiatives to deliver on challenging objectives
- You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
- You bring two or more years work experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production Planning, Forecasting, Sales & Consumer Goods industries, or a Bachelors Degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or Business.
- You bring a working knowledge and understanding of interdependencies of production and capacity planning, scheduling processes, distribution methods, inventory management, network optimization, material flow, planning, forecasting, transportation, distributor operations, sales, marketing and budgets.
- You are an expert with technical PC skills (Business Objects, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS-Outlook). Your resume will stand out if you have CICSP and SAP experience.
- You will succeed in this role if you possess strong analytical and communication skills. Supply planning skills are preferable as well, including order fill, replenishment, and transportation service and freshness or rotation management
- You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy .
- You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business.
