Come and be part of our team in the dynamic world of Lockheed Martin Space. You will perform as a member of a team in the role of a Production Scheduler supporting manufacturing operations. This role will require you to be organized with exceptional attention-to-detail skills. You will collaborate with manufacturing engineers, technicians, and other key essential team members supporting manufacturing. Individuals in this role typically have 6 or more years of professional experience, are able to work independently, and are self-starters with the ability to think and be dedicated in their efforts.
Summary of Key Duties for this position:
- You will provide planning and scheduling for all assigned hardware in support of the Manufacturing Center and specified requirements.
- Advise management on the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential productions issues; ensuring that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
- Schedule equipment and personnel to support production operations.
- You will be responsible for weekly maintenance of project timelines which includes updates, analysis, and the ability to simulate various scheduling scenarios.
- Supply earned value management (EVM) data to program planning.
- Report schedule variance/analysis to manufacturing and production control management.
- You will work with program business operations personnel to resolve discrepancies/anomalies and delays impacting program schedule commitments.
- Build long range schedules in support of shop capacity planning; creating basis of estimates (BOEs) for proposals and providing commitment dates for hardware delivery to programs.
Typical Experience:
Specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks, and 6 or more years of experience.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, or other Business or technical discipline from an accredited college/or university.
- Proficient in Microsoft office with advance MS Project and Excel experience.
Desired Skills:
- Earned Value Management (EVM) / Financial experience
- Leadership experience
- Project management experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Scheduling Theory and practices in a manufacturing center.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic team environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience with SAP/ERP systems.
- Material Resource Planning experience.
- Independent self-starter with the ability to think proactively.
- Supply Chain Management experience a plus (including one of the following: Production Planning and Control, Project Management, Inventory Management, Material Management or Logistics, Procurement or Subcontract Administration), or experience in a field related to Production Operations Management (Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Program or Production Planning).
